With many of the remaining seventeenth-century homes held in 'public' hands, living in this primitive home has been a rare opportunity.
After fifteen years we can still walk into a room and find something we never noticed before. This home never ceases to amaze -
occupants and visitors alike. From the original details, to appreciating the settlers' challenges in gathering and putting to use their limited
resources.
This web site was constructed to help the many people who have over the years, written, called and visited our home. Some simply curious;
others in search of long-ago ancestors.
